DeAndre Jordan on the move?

The former All-NBA first teamer may opt into the final year of his contract with intentions of being traded somewhere. Marc Stein reported this earlier today:

Remember, DJ was onceĀ this close to signing with the Mavericks during a past free agency period. He may see the writing on the wall in LA, as they gear up to clear cap space, gain assets, and hopefully bring in big name free agents over the next two summers. Plus, DJ is from Texas, so a return home could be just what he is looking for.

The Mavericks have some decent assets to trade, but are they enough? They just sent a future first to Atlanta. Time will tell. Regardless, if DJ opts into his contract this Friday, then we may have something exciting on our hands.

Where do you want DJ to go? @Mattesposito_
