Rondo Joins LeBron, Lakers On One Year Deal

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Rajon Rondo will join the Los Angeles Lakers on a one year deal, worth $9 million.

Last season with the Pelicans, Rondo posted averages of 8.3ppg & 8.2apg.

This comes, not even 24 hours, after LeBron James agreed to take his talents to Hollywood.

Yes, the Lakers have a starting point guard in Lonzo Ball, but adding a guy like Rondo is just what LeBron could use.

Why? Well, the plan is to win now, according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelbourne.

The veteran is one of the best floor generals in the league, as his 20+ assist games, last season, showed. Not only does Rondo bring is high IQ to L.A, but his aggressiveness and ability to agitate opponents is a plus, as well.

After adding LeBron James, Lance Stephenson and Rajon Rondo, it’s safe to say Magic Johnson still has more tricks up his sleeve to bring the LakeShow back to relevancy.

The Lakers are still believed to be involved in talks with the Spurs, surrounding Kawhi Leonard.
