LeBron Regrets Naming Oldest Son After Him

Doesn’t almost every man have the thought, at least once, of having a son at some point?

Even better, surely it’s safe to assume that most men juggle with the idea of naming his first born after him.

That’s exactly what LeBron James did, and it’s exactly what LeBron James regrets, via Yahoo Sports!.

According to an upcoming episode of “The Shop”, James’ barbershop talk show, he addresses a question from Jon Stewart on the pressure James’ first son has.

The pressure coming from simply being LeBron James Jr.

“I still regret giving my 14-year-old my name because of that”, says LeBron.

So where did LeBron get the idea from?

His childhood upbringing.

James says when he was younger, he didn’t have a father.

“My whole thing was, whenever I have a kid, not only is he going to be a junior, but I’m going to do everything that this man didn’t do.”

As for LeBron Jr? Well, the spotlight has been on him for a few years now. It seems like every week, a new clip of LBJ jr. emerges. And, yes, he’s a very talented 14 year old. A 14 year old who missed his first in game dunk attempt by a hair.

Colleges, such as Duke, have all eyes on Bronny James, who will be entering his first year of high school, in Los Angeles.

As for LeBron’s show mentioned above, a part of the show will air August 28th on HBO.
