Jimmy Butler to Showtime?

The 2018 offseason rumors get better and better.

With LeBron James joining the Los Angeles Lakers, it was a thought of who would join him.

Paul George?

Kawhi Leonard?

DeMarcus Cousins?

Well, close. It’s just that George re-signed with the Thunder, Kawhi landed in Toronto and Cousins is in Oakland.

So, as of now, it seems to be LeBron, young players and a few veterans. Highly doubtful that’s enough to get past the Warriors, or even the Rockets.

But, just because the Lakers didn’t get any of the players listed above, doesn’t mean other star players won’t hesitate to join LeBron in L.A.

But, who?

There have been multiple reports this summer surrounding Jimmy Butler and his frustrations with players such as Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Also, Butler recently turned down a contract extension from the Wolves.

According to an article written by Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, Butler is open to the idea of playing with LeBron and the Lakers.

To acquire Butler, via trade, it’s almost a certainty that the Lakers would have to include Brandon Ingram or Kyle Kuzma in any trade package.

Butler seems to want out of Minnesota, and pairing him with LeBron in L.A sounds good for, both, Butler & the Lakers.
